About

With 25 years of experience in nonprofit fundraising, Margaux Helvey helps organizations design and execute fundraising strategies that drive sustainable revenue and strengthen long-term impact. She specializes in fundraising events, while also supporting clients with board and committee management, organizational and staff development, corporate and community engagement, and board training.

Through her consulting practice, Fundraising For Good, Margaux partners with nonprofits to build strong, effective fundraising and governance systems. Drawing on her background leading fundraising and communications teams in large, community-based organizations, particularly in housing and homeless services, she brings a practical, hands-on approach grounded in real-world nonprofit operations. Her work helps organizations clarify priorities, solve complex challenges, and mobilize boards, staff, and stakeholders around shared goals.

Margaux is known for being a collaborative partner who adapts to each organization’s unique needs. She focuses on actionable solutions, capacity-building, and strategies that nonprofits can sustain well beyond a single campaign or engagement.

Her approach is informed by advanced training in both business and social work. Margaux holds an MBA from the University of Southern California, where she co-founded the Brittingham Social Enterprise Lab at the USC Marshall School of Business, as well as an MSW from the USC School of Social Work. She earned her B.A. from the University of Virginia.
